Accounts Receivable Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

DB Insurance USA is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its finance team. You will ensure timely premium collections, maintain accurate customer financial records, and help improve billing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily AR workflow: post cash receipts, process payments, and apply credits.
• Perform month‑end closing for AR, reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger, and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding balances, generate aging reports, and communicate with vendors on collections.
• Research and resolve billing inquiries, payment discrepancies, and unapplied cash.
• Handle inbound customer calls and emails regarding billing, payments, and policy information.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Provide support to other accounting and operational functions as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 + year of accounting or accounts‑receivable experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Understanding of billing workflows, cash applications, and basic GAAP/SAP standards.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Self‑driven, proactive, and detail‑focused.
