Accounts Payable Clerk

About the role

The Faulkner Automotive Group, a family-owned and operated automotive group serving Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania, is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join its team in Doylestown. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Faulkner provides training to all employees and offers continued growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Code invoices and remit them to the office daily
• Review the prior month's parts reconciliation and follow up on outstanding items
• Compile all documents needed for month-end reconciliation and review them with the Parts Manager, General Manager and Office Manager
• Keep records of dirty and clean cores and follow through on returns
• Collect PFR amounts
• Assist with internet functions when necessary

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior accounts payable experience preferred; minimum of 1 year in the automotive industry or in a retail accounting office
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well with all levels of staff and management
• Effective organization and prioritization skills

Required skills

• Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
