Accounting Manager - Marketing

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting function for a global technology and creative network, delivering shared services to multiple brands across the organization. This role ensures accurate, GAAP‑compliant financial reporting and supports key corporate initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end and year‑end close processes for assigned entities, delivering timely and accurate financial statements.
• Review and approve journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, recurring close entries, and financial results prepared by the accounting team.
• Maintain general‑ledger and balance‑sheet integrity across multiple legal entities, including fixed assets, accruals, cash and credit‑card reconciliations, amortization and depreciation.
• Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial results to leadership.
• Lead intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and issue resolution across global subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience managing month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Proven ability to oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to explain variances and financial performance to senior leaders.
• Experience coordinating intercompany accounting and resolving cross‑entity issues.
