Accounting Manager

About the role

Mastercard is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the North America Finance team. The role will work within the Controller’s group, partnering with the Global Business Service Center (GBSC) to ensure accurate US GAAP financial reporting and support the business across accounting and internal control functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly close activities with GBSC and review revenue analysis deliverables.
• Assist with quarterly US GAAP reporting, SEC disclosures, and revenue waiver and claims processes.
• Provide technical accounting advice on revenue, billing, and expense matters.
• Support SOX controls, internal control monitoring, and risk‑management initiatives.
• Prepare financial reports, conduct analyses, and present recommendations to senior management.
• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance.
• Experience collaborating with global service centers and cross‑functional finance teams.
• Ability to analyze complex revenue data and support forecasting activities.
• Proven track record of improving accounting processes and internal controls.
