Accounting Adjunct Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, seeks an Accounting Adjunct Instructor to deliver high‑quality instruction for its Accounting program across multiple campuses and online.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑cycle instruction for Accounting courses, preparing students with employable business skills.
• Teach classes on multiple campuses, both day and evening, as well as online formats.
• Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Business Sciences and adhere to academic term schedules.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting.
• Preferred: PhD and/or CPA certification.
• Experience with online instruction in a post‑secondary setting, including use of Blackboard or other LMS.
• Post‑secondary teaching experience with computer‑assisted instruction, instructional technology, and student advisement/registration.

Required skills

• Blackboard or other online learning management system.
• Computer‑assisted instruction and instructional technology.
• CPA certification (preferred).

What we offer

• $2,200 pay per course (no state benefits).
• Direct‑deposit payroll requirement unless exempted by hardship.
