Accountant

About the role

Gauntlet is seeking an Accountant to support its growing accounting function and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of its financial records. The role will be involved in month‑end close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, AP/AR operations, audit support and compliance activities. You will work closely with the Accounting Lead, On‑chain Accounting Lead and Controller.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, including journal entries, accruals and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and maintain bank, balance‑sheet and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statement packages and analyze account activity.
• Manage the full accounts payable process, from invoice processing to vendor payments.
• Oversee customer invoicing, collections and accounts receivable tracking.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Provide audit support and assist with compliance activities.
