Accountant

About the role

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO and senior management, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s rapid growth across the Midwest.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll teams.
• Handle bank reporting and classification.
• Manage a variety of accounting projects and resolve related issues.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations, chargebacks, and funding.
• Enter and reconcile AP/AR transactions and ensure timely processing.
• Prepare analysis and reports for AR, AP, collections, and P&L reviews.
• Maintain data confidentiality, perform database backups, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the CFO or senior management.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of general accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting).
• Experience with general ledger functions and intercompany activity.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent position with a salary range of $60,000‑$75,000 USD per year (based on experience).
• Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm onsite schedule.
