Accountant – Hybrid role in Ann Arbor

About the role
We are seeking an Accountant to join our finance team at the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences in Ann Arbor. This hybrid position requires three days on‑site (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) and two days remote, supporting our accounts‑payable function and ensuring accurate invoice processing.
Key responsibilities
- Audit incoming invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with financial staff and project teams to resolve invoice questions.
- Perform monthly financial reconciliations as needed.
- Assist with other finance‑related projects and duties as assigned.
Required profile
- U.S. citizen, eligible for government security clearance.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 unless legally exempt.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably accounts‑payable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule and pass background screening.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
