Accountant – Financial Reporting & Audit

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a leading financial institution. The role focuses on month‑end closing, financial reporting and supporting regulatory and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end closing and prepare financial reports, including FLASH reporting.
• Prepare quarterly regulatory reports and consolidated working papers.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations prepared by junior staff.
• Configure, modify, and test software workflows to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with annual external and regulatory audits.
• Process and review various financial entries and intercompany transactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial accounting with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience with month‑end closing processes and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze account activity and research outstanding items.
• Experience assisting with audits.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
