Accountant Analyst

About the role

The Accounting Analyst will support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, month‑end close, and account reconciliations within the CRFC scope. Reporting to the General Accounting Supervisor, the role contributes to accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned month‑end closing and intercompany activities.
• Prepare accurate journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, balance sheets, and profit‑and‑loss statements.
• Perform SOX controls and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Deliver performance metrics (KPIs) to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with market and local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support migration of Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes across scoped countries.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Document processes and procedures; handle ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in an ICO accounting environment.
• Experience in a shared‑service center within a large, matrixed multinational organization.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – intermediate level (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros, charts, formulas).
• Journal entry processing and account reconciliation.
• Financial reporting and analysis.
• Understanding of US GAAP principles.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance controls.
