Account Executive – Tech (Advertising Solutions)

About the role

Discord is building a new Advertising Solutions (Quests) business line and needs a senior Account Executive to lead the Tech vertical. You will help shape a zero‑to‑one offering, create a recurring book of business, and position Discord as a premier marketing platform for gaming‑aligned brands.

Key responsibilities

• Generate $XX million+ in new revenue from non‑endemic tech brands.
• Develop and deepen relationships with senior marketing stakeholders at global tech companies.
• Provide market insights to product and product‑marketing teams to co‑create innovative ad solutions.
• Represent Discord externally, sharing strategic insights while protecting the user experience.
• Craft and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals using internal and external data.
• Collaborate across sales to design scalable processes that ensure repeatable, predictable outcomes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience building multi‑million‑dollar businesses with global tech brands.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and agencies to launch new partnerships.
• Proactive problem‑solver who anticipates client needs and safeguards the Discord platform.
• Willingness to travel for regional in‑person client meetings.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or the New York Metropolitan Area.
