Account Executive – Startups

About the role

As a Startups Account Executive at Anthropic, you will lead the adoption of safe, frontier AI solutions within fast‑growing startup companies. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and act as a trusted advisor helping customers integrate large language models into their products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective startup customers, educate them on Anthropic’s LLM technology, and close strategic deals.
• Design and execute innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue quotas, analyzing market trends and targeting high‑potential segments.
• Collaborate with product, GTM, and marketing teams to refine value propositions and differentiate Anthropic’s offerings.
• Gather customer feedback to inform product roadmaps and enhance the overall value proposition.
• Continuously improve sales playbooks, templates, and processes to boost productivity.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience prospecting and closing deals with startups, especially with emerging technologies.
• Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and sell to technical stakeholders.
• Experience acting as a strategic business advisor to startup founders.
• Experience negotiating customized commercial agreements with multiple parties.
