Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (Occupational Therapy)

About the role

Saint Louis University seeks a full‑time, non‑tenure‑track faculty member to serve as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Master’s in Occupational Therapy program. The appointment begins January 2026 and dedicates 50% of the faculty load to coordinating clinical fieldwork experiences that integrate didactic learning with hands‑on practice.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to align fieldwork placements with curriculum sequence and scope.
• Match and assign students to Level I and Level II fieldwork sites, providing guidance throughout the process.
• Communicate student progress and performance to both students and fieldwork educators.
• Represent the program at trainings, conferences, meetings, and clinical site visits.
• Teach courses within the coordinator’s area of expertise and engage in scholarly activities.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Occupational Therapy or a related health field.
• Experience supervising or coordinating clinical education for OT students.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and clinical partners.
