About the role
The district is seeking a dedicated 5th grade teacher for the 2026‑27 school year. The role combines classroom instruction with participation in specialized education and skills‑development programs across the district.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, standards‑based instruction to 5th grade students.
- Collaborate with Teacher Specialists to implement district‑wide educational initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and assess student progress regularly.
- Participate in professional development and district meetings.
Required profile
- Valid Arizona Elementary Teacher Certification.
- SEI endorsement preferred.
- Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Literacy Endorsement required unless holding a Reading K‑8, Reading K‑12, or Reading Specialist K‑12 endorsement.
Required skills
- Proficiency in classroom management and instructional planning.
- Ability to integrate specialized programs into daily teaching.
