3rd Shift Distillery Operator (Mon-Thu, 11 PM‑8 AM)

About the role

This full‑time, third‑shift position supports the distillery’s production line from Monday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. You will operate and maintain equipment, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to high‑quality spirit output.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all distilling processes, including grain receiving, milling, cooking, mashing, distilling, boiler operation, stillage transfer, and barrel filling.
• Follow equipment usage, maintenance, and safety protocols; report issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Troubleshoot equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate batch sheets and quality‑control records, supporting grain, mash, and beer testing.
• Ensure housekeeping meets OSHA and company safety standards.
• Follow cleaning protocols for equipment and work areas.
• Monitor automated and manual process controls and adhere to production schedules.
• Comply with SOPs, GMPs, safety regulations, and all applicable laws.
• Assist the barrel team with tank proofing, filling, and rolling as needed.

Required profile

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma required.
• At least one year of experience in boiler maintenance, brewing, distilling, fermentation, food‑and‑beverage production, or chemical manufacturing.
• Strong teamwork, multitasking, and initiative.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks.
