2nd Shift Receiving Attendant

About the role

The Receiving Attendant works the 2nd shift, unloading incoming freight, delivering materials, and transferring approved parts to purchasing and production as needed. The role involves operating a forklift, using a computer for inventory tracking, and performing all tasks safely and responsibly.

Key responsibilities

• Unload incoming freight and deliver materials to the appropriate locations.
• Transfer approved material to purchase parts and the production floor as required.
• Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Obtain a tow motor license and successfully pass LOTO and confined space training.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support warehouse and production operations.

Required profile

• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Proficiency with a computer for inventory or tracking purposes.
• Basic addition skills to tally units per training.
• Capability to learn job duties and locations from verbal instructions.
• Common‑sense understanding to follow detailed instructions.
