2nd Shift Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a 2nd‑shift Quality Assurance Technician to join our food‑manufacturing team in Warsaw, NC. The role ensures that all products meet strict safety, quality and regulatory standards while supporting continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and document HACCP critical control points (CCPs) in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor slaughter, RTE cook, chilling, HTNFC, raw intact and non‑intact CCPs to ensure compliance.
• Perform quality audits on product temperature, labeling, metal detection, packaging weight, brine formulation and ingredient blending.
• Enforce product specifications, segregation procedures, GMPs and SSOPs throughout production.
• Conduct monthly internal audits under the direction of the SQF Practitioner.
• Communicate quality and facility issues to the QC Supervisor and maintain a safe work environment.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed.

Required profile

• GED or high‑school diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience in high‑volume food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of plant regulatory requirements and HACCP principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow detailed procedures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AS400 and Lotus Notes.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
