2nd Line IT Systems Administrator

About the role

The 2nd Line IT Systems Administrator will support and improve OEG’s IT infrastructure within the Cargo Logistics Division. Working in a growing in‑house team, you will ensure reliable delivery of services across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking and Active Directory environments. The role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, mission‑critical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with group IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Manage Azure AD – user provisioning, group policies and conditional access.
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Objects.
• Support network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Escalate complex incidents to external vendors when required.
• Document incidents, solutions and procedures in the ITSM system.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with physical installation of networking equipment.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Azure and Azure AD.
• Windows Server and Active Directory management.
• Networking concepts – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Synology storage systems.
• ConnectWise Automate and Fortinet EMS.
• Cybersecurity tools – anti‑malware, vulnerability scanning.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems.
