Wood Shop Assembler

About the role

IDEC Elevator Products is seeking a motivated Wood Shop Assembler to join its manufacturing team in Riviera Beach, FL. You will work hands‑on to produce high‑quality elevator components, using a variety of woodworking equipment and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble wood components for elevator products according to specifications and drawings.
• Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, CNC routers, and hand/power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Measure, cut, drill, fit, and assemble materials with precision.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and complete production paperwork accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a wood shop, cabinetry, or elevator manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.

Required skills

• Operation of table saws.
• Use of routers and CNC routers.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements.
