About the role
Dematic Corp. is seeking a skilled Welder to join its manufacturing crew in Salt Lake City. You will work with multiple welding techniques on state‑of‑the‑art material handling equipment, contributing to high‑quality products used by leading companies.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with welding procedures and processes in various positions on all equipment.
- Review blueprints and sketches, prepare materials, and perform fit‑up of fabricated parts.
- Operate grinders, saws, and torches during product fabrication.
- Identify and address simple problems, seeking mentorship for more complex issues.
Required profile
- Associate degree in welding or 1‑2 years of vocational technical training (preferred).
- At least 1 year of successful welding experience.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and lift up to 100 lb occasionally.
