Weights and Research Coordinator

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Weights and Research Coordinator for its Elgin, IL Service Center. The role ensures the company receives appropriate revenue on shipments by reviewing and verifying shipment classifications against bill of lading information.

Key responsibilities

• Review shipments as they pass through docks to confirm the actual class matches the bill of lading.
• Identify and correct discrepancies to secure accurate revenue collection.
• Collaborate with operations and billing teams to resolve classification issues.

Required profile

• Any LTL experience preferred but not required.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong analytical abilities and computer proficiency.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

• Salary range $55,000 – $65,000 per year, full‑time, Monday‑Friday with various shift options.
