Water/Wastewater Project Manager

About the role

Join a dynamic team delivering critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the U.S. Virgin Islands. As the Water/Wastewater Project Manager you will lead the full project lifecycle—from planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout—ensuring safe, on‑schedule, and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project development from programming to final completion in line with program objectives.
• Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Administer contracts for architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop bid packaging strategies and oversee pre‑bid and post‑bid meetings.
• Monitor project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing construction or infrastructure projects, preferably water or wastewater.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑design, pre‑construction, project planning, contract administration, and construction management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using project management software.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure systems.
• Construction management expertise.
