Wastewater Project Manager

About the role

Wilson Engineers is seeking an experienced Wastewater Project Manager to lead complex civil engineering projects for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. The role is based in Minden, Nevada and offers the chance to work on technically challenging projects alongside a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop designs, technical reports, construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, permitting documentation, and alternatives analyses.
• Manage projects from conceptual design through final delivery, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, budget, and schedule.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including design reviews, technical evaluations, and resolution of field issues.
• Mentor and direct engineering staff, coordinating design tasks and ensuring high‑quality, timely deliverables.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering degree with a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum five years of water/wastewater design experience and at least two years of project management experience.
• Experience designing treatment facilities, collection systems, booster and pump stations, and master plans for water, reclaimed water, and wastewater.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
