Warehouse Porter - Legends Alamodome

About the role

Legends Global Alamodome is hiring a part-time, hourly, seasonal Warehouse Porter in its Food & Beverage department, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. The role is event-based and involves helping transfer and stock concessions before, during and after events.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and a sanitary work area, following departmental guidelines for sanitation and safety
• Interact with customers and clients in a pleasant and professional manner
• Monitor stock levels, obtain supplies and equipment as requested by management, and keep assigned areas clean and orderly
• Perform and assist with daily routine inventory of all required stock per area of responsibility
• Ensure requisitions are delivered in a timely manner and keep inventory organized using first-in, first-out
• Respond promptly to last-minute requests and help Bartenders, Servers, Concession Attendants and Management
• Report equipment malfunctions immediately and maintain equipment standards
• Other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least 18 years of age
• Food Handlers Permit required under the Lincoln-Lancaster Health Department
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and to complete required pre-employment food service training if applicable
• Ability to work in a team, with a positive attitude and neat appearance; English preferred as primary language but not required
• Willingness to handle exposure to chemical cleaning agents and hazards such as cuts, scalds, slips and frequent immersion in water

Physical demands

• Stand and walk for the full length of a shift, often in a hot and damp environment
• Lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place them on high and low shelves
• Bend, squat, twist and reach up to 6-7 feet; push and pull equipment occasionally
