Warehouse General – Forklift Operator

About the role

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Warehouse General to support daily warehouse operations. You will work alongside warehouse personnel to select, receive, load, and repack orders, ensuring efficient flow of food and beverage products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with order selecting, receiving, loading, and repacking activities.
• Operate a forklift or electric pallet jack safely and in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain equipment in safe, working condition and report any incidents immediately.
• Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of trash.
• Project a friendly, professional image at all times.
• Prioritize multiple, competing tasks and attend required meetings.

Required profile

• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong coordination and follow‑through on multiple activities.
• Good oral and written communication skills; team player.
• Highly motivated, results‑oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Organized with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Basic mathematical calculation ability.
• Must read and write English.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of moving products up to 165 lb., stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• High school diploma or GED required.
