VUTEk Operator – Large-Format Digital Print Production Specialist

About the role

The VUTEk Operator will set up, operate, and maintain EFI VUTEk large‑format printing systems, ensuring high‑quality, color‑accurate output in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run EFI VUTEk wide‑format printers, loading media, inks, and curing systems.
• Prepare print files with color management, ICC profiling, and soft proofing.
• Start up, calibrate, maintain, and clean printers according to guidelines.
• Monitor output for quality, color accuracy, and consistency.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with service technicians.
• Manage media inventory and basic production maintenance tasks.
• Document settings, parameters, and quality checks for repeatable workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in large‑format printing, preferably with VUTEk/EFI systems.
• Strong knowledge of color management, ICC profiles, and print proofing workflows.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic printer maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
