Vice President of Safety, Health, and Environmental

About the role

The Vice President of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) will lead Nestlé’s Zero Harm Journey, shaping corporate safety and environmental policies across multiple facilities. Based at the St. Louis headquarters, this senior leader partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, drive culture change, and protect people, pets, and the planet.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the corporate SH&E strategy, including design, development, and implementation of safety and environmental programs.
• Serve as liaison with Nestlé Zone Americas Safety Leadership, coordinating initiatives and providing counsel on key issues.
• Collaborate with internal legal counsel to interpret and apply legislation and regulations.
• Lead and manage a corporate team of direct reports, establishing KPIs and driving corrective actions.
• Oversee safety strategy, policy, compliance, audits, training development, implementation, and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or other industrial environments.
• 7+ years of safety leadership experience supporting multiple facility types.
• Proven track record of leading organization-wide safety culture change with strong incident rate results.
• Experience with best‑in‑class SH&E training and environmental sustainability programs.
