Vice President of Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a senior procurement executive to shape and lead our sourcing strategy, supplier relationships, and overall procurement operations. Based in Dallas, this leader will join the Executive Leadership Team and influence spend across ingredients, packaging, and indirect categories while traveling extensively to suppliers and manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a procurement strategy that aligns with growth and sustainability objectives.
• Own and optimize total spend for raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and indirect categories.
• Build and maintain a diverse global supplier base, leading complex multi‑year contract negotiations.
• Conduct regular supplier visits and audits both domestically and internationally.
• Enhance supply‑chain resilience through dual‑sourcing, scenario planning, and business continuity programs.
• Advance ethical sourcing and sustainability commitments across the supply base.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8–12 procurement professionals.
• Deliver year‑over‑year cost savings and provide commodity cost forecasts to Finance.
• Report procurement KPIs to the CSCO and Board of Directors.

Required profile

• 10+ years of procurement experience, including at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
• Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or food supply chains is strongly preferred.
• Proven record of generating commercial value through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams across multiple spend categories.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPSM or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30–40%) with a valid US passport.
