Vice President of Human Resources

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources who will report directly to the CEO and lead the HR function for a 500‑person organization. This senior executive role blends strategic vision with hands‑on execution to strengthen people operations, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and company culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a company‑wide HR strategy aligned with business goals, scaling the function for a 500‑employee base.
• Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing data‑driven insights for organizational decision‑making.
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Modernize HR service delivery, policies, systems, reporting, and governance to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Use people analytics, engagement data, and retention trends to prioritize initiatives and measure impact.
• Oversee core HR programs including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, learning & development, total rewards, benefits, and compliance.
• Design and manage competitive, equitable compensation and benefits programs.
• Ensure HR support for a geographically distributed workforce with timely, consistent service.
• Lead HR technology strategy, including HRIS optimization, automation, and self‑service tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR leader in a fast‑growing, mid‑size organization.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with C‑suite executives and influence strategic decisions.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using people‑analytics and engagement data.
• Track record of modernizing and scaling HR functions, including organizational design and workforce planning.
• Experience managing HR for a distributed workforce and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
