Vice President of Business Development – Remote (US)

About the role

Sentral is looking for a highly driven Vice President of Business Development to lead new‑business initiatives and expand its footprint across multifamily and hospitality markets. This remote role will focus on sourcing, negotiating and closing management agreements while building strategic relationships with owners, developers and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business‑development strategies to secure new management agreements and grow the portfolio.
• Originate relationships with owners, developers and investors through cold outreach, networking and referrals.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, conduct prospect tours, presentations and capability meetings.
• Negotiate and support contract closing in partnership with executive leadership and legal teams.
• Represent Sentral at industry events and conferences to strengthen brand awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, architecture, development, design or real estate (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of sales, growth and underwriting experience in multifamily or hospitality real estate.
• Extensive network among multifamily owners and developers, especially in Florida, Texas, Georgia or North Carolina.
• Proven ability to travel up to 50% of the time and manage cross‑functional relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
