Vice President Finance – Global Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President Finance to act as Global Head of Finance for a fast‑growing media company operating in more than 10 countries. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead accounting, FP&A, treasury and finance operations while building scalable financial infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead company‑wide budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and KPI reporting.
• Oversee global accounting, consolidations and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
• Manage outsourced accounting partners across the US, UK, UAE, Africa and Asia, ensuring consistent policies and controls.
• Direct treasury activities, cash‑flow management, banking relationships and equity administration.
• Drive finance systems strategy, ERP optimization and automation initiatives.
• Partner with the CFO and executive team on growth initiatives, international expansion and operational scaling.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience covering Accounting, FP&A and Financial Operations.
• Experience managing multi‑entity, international organizations with multiple currencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Big Four accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Background in high‑growth, venture‑backed media, publishing, events or SaaS companies is a plus.

What we offer

• Base salary $285,000–$315,000 per year.
• Annual bonus target of 25%.
• Equity participation valued at approximately $100,000.
• Hybrid work model – 4 days onsite in New York, remote Friday.
• Opportunity to progress to CFO within three years.
