Vice President, Consultant Relations (Asset Management)

About the role

Jefferies Asset Management is seeking a senior Consultant Relations professional to lead business development and investor relations across the United States. Based in a major financial hub, the role combines client outreach, fundraising support, and coordination with internal distribution, legal, compliance, and accounting teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive fundraising activities for JefAM products by developing relationships with prospective investors.
• Lead and deliver presentations to prospective and existing investors, both independently and with senior distribution team members.
• Conduct market and product research, create target client lists, and manage the full sales cycle.
• Oversee client onboarding, compliance reviews, and coordination with legal, compliance, and accounting groups.
• Respond to existing client inquiries, arrange and attend portfolio review meetings, and support new product development initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in consultant relations, business development, or investor relations within asset management or alternative investment firms.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. institutional investment landscape and competitive dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales processes and multi‑disciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
