Veterinary Sales Manager – Sarasota, FL

About the role

As a Territory Sales Manager for Purina’s Veterinary Sales Team, you will be the face of the Pro Plan Veterinary Diet® line, helping veterinarians provide specialized nutrition for dogs and cats with health challenges. Based in Sarasota, FL, you will combine scientific expertise with consultative selling to grow market share and improve pet health.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the Pro Plan Veterinary Diet® product line to veterinarians and clinic staff.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for the assigned Sarasota territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers, providing consultative nutrition expertise.
• Conduct in‑hospital trainings, product detailing, and special events to drive product adoption.
• Collaborate with regional teams, distributors and cross‑functional partners to achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
• Valid state driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and required automobile insurance coverage.
• Ability to travel within the territory, including overnight trips.
• Willingness to relocate to Sarasota, FL upon offer acceptance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform frequent bending, reaching and standing.
