Vehicle Porter (NHQ Parking Lot)

About the role

MSX International, a partner to vehicle manufacturers, retailers and mobility organizations, is hiring a vehicle porter for its NHQ site in Fountain Valley, California. The role is entry-level with on-the-job training, involves moving and parking vehicles and supporting the Vehicle Administration team, and requires working outdoors in all weather.

Key responsibilities

• Moving and parking vehicles in the NHQ parking lot for Vehicle Administration representatives, employees and VIP visitors
• Light vehicle maintenance such as interior cleaning, exterior washing, and installing license plate brackets or stickers
• Driving new cars between the NHQ parking structure and the Vehicle Administration area, keeping them ready for handover
• Tracking car locations in the parking structure and managing vehicle flow in the assigned parking areas, National Service Garage and general lot
• Working with the onsite Vehicle Administration team: cleaning cars, following driving standards, handling requests, filing documents during downtime, driving errands and supporting special projects
• Other duties assigned by the client or MSX International

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Full professional proficiency in English; minimum Spanish preferred
• Preferred: 1-2 years of automotive porter background and 6-12 months in an automotive or dealership setting
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm PST, one shift available

Required skills

• Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
• Organization, flexibility, customer service and speed

The wage range is estimated at $21 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
