About the role
Renaissance Academy is hiring a part-time custodian under the supervision of the Facility Manager. The job is a classified position open to all applicants, working 3.2 hours per day for 237 days per year, with a salary grade of 2 at $16.41 per hour (2026-2027 support salary table); promotions give a minimum 5% increase. The closing date is open until filled.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the school building and grounds
- Set up equipment for special events
- Assist school personnel with work requests
Required profile
- Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematical calculations
- At least 16 years of age
- Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Physical ability to handle very heavy work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, crawling, kneeling and stooping
