About the role
Delaware County Christian School is seeking an energetic and committed Varsity Head Boys Tennis Coach to lead the boys’ tennis program starting in Fall 2026. The coach will be responsible for developing athletes on and off the court, fostering sportsmanship, safety, and a Christian environment.
Key responsibilities
- Run daily practices between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
- Develop rosters, create game plans and oversee their execution.
- Organize and coach the team on game days.
- Drive the team van to practices and games as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and faith aligned with the school’s statement of belief.
- Ability to communicate a Christian view of athletics.
- Knowledge of tennis skills and techniques and ability to teach high‑school athletes.
- Experience planning and executing team practices.
- High school, college or professional tennis playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
