About the role
Delaware County Christian School athletics is seeking an energetic and committed Varsity Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach to begin in Spring 2026. The coach will foster sportsmanship, safety, and the overall development of athletes both on and off the field while honoring the school’s Christian values.
Key responsibilities
- Run daily practices anytime between 3:00‑7:00 pm.
- Develop rosters, create game plans, and oversee their execution.
- Drive the team van to practices and games as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the school’s Statement of Faith.
- Ability to communicate a Christian view of athletics.
- Knowledge of lacrosse skills and techniques and ability to teach middle‑school athletes.
- Capability to plan and execute team practices and coach on game days.
- High school, college or professional lacrosse coaching experience preferred.
