Valve Technician

About the role

K+S Services, a SunSource company, provides industrial repair services across the USA, Canada and Mexico. The Valve Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of industrial valves, ensuring quality and timely service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and evaluate valves received for repair.
• Prepare failure analysis reports for each component assembly.
• Research parts and suppliers to support repair activities.
• Identify and maintain spare‑parts inventory to meet customer needs, and ensure repaired items are properly stored.
• Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Own set of tools.
• Preferred three years of related work experience.
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings.
• Detail‑oriented with no lifting restrictions.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Interpretation of assembly drawings.
• Computer skills for documentation and inventory management.
