Vibration Technician

About the role

K+S Services, a SunSource company, is seeking a Vibration Technician for its Taylor, MI facility. You will work alongside senior technicians to ensure spindle vibration levels meet tolerance and support field balancing and on‑site analysis for customers across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Test and analyze spindles with senior vibration technician, ensuring vibration levels are within tolerance and set up run‑off for finished product.
• Analyze vibration data to identify fault frequencies of bearing systems.
• Perform field balancing as required.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites to conduct on‑site vibration analysis.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; electro‑mechanical associate’s degree or relevant experience is a plus.
• Certification in vibration analysis.
• Two years of experience as a Vibration Technician preferred.
• Proficiency with Emerson (CSI) 2120/2130/2140 preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, use precision measurement devices, and understand bearing assemblies.
• Strong mechanical understanding of industrial equipment and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
