U.S. Army Urologist – Full-time or Reserve

About the role

As an Army Urologist you will lead a skilled medical team, collaborate across disciplines, and deliver comprehensive urologic care to soldiers and their families. The position offers the autonomy of a physician with the respect and resources of the U.S. Army Medical Corps.

Key responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics, medical management, and surgical treatment for genitourinary conditions.
• Lead and mentor a team of medical professionals within a military medical facility.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in humanitarian missions, leadership training, and advanced research programs.
• Maintain readiness for deployment and support of military operations.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. school.
• Current U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico medical license.
• Eligibility for board certification in urology.
• Completed at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education internship.
• Completed a urology residency training program.
• U.S. citizenship required for active‑duty service; permanent U.S. residency required for Army Reserve.
