Union Porter – Community Maintenance at The Chelsea

About the role

Ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained and standards are met regarding the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal while providing support to the service team members.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping common areas and amenities neat.
• Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Change locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates operate safely.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
