Trial Lawyer in Training - Associate Attorney

About the role

Zinda Law Group is seeking a motivated attorney to join its Trial Lawyer in Training program. This full‑time, on‑site position in Austin offers immediate exposure to high‑value litigation and a clear pathway to becoming a Lead Trial Lawyer.

Key responsibilities

• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Conduct complex legal research that informs trial strategy.
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial, maintaining trial‑ready files.
• Collaborate with experts on liability, damages, and medical issues.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Gradually assume ownership of depositions, motion arguments, and trial segments.

Required profile

• Recent law school graduate or early‑career attorney eager to practice trial law.
• Strong analytical mindset and obsessive preparation habits.
• Comfortable with high performance standards and rapid feedback.
• Competitive, coachable, and ready for significant responsibility early.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary $125,000‑$250,000 plus performance and uncapped origination bonuses (total compensation up to $350,000).
