Travel Medical-Surgical RN – $1,941 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse specialized in Medical‑Surgical care for a 13‑week assignment in Palestine, Texas. The position starts on 06/15/2026 and follows a 12‑hour night shift schedule (19:00‑07:00), providing 36 hours of patient care each week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to pre‑ and post‑surgical patients.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures, post‑treatment home care, and discharge planning.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and monitor vital signs.
• Insert catheters, start IVs, change dressings, and operate specialized medical equipment.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments, and respond to emergency situations following nursing protocols.

Required profile

• Active Texas RN license or multi‑state compact license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum two years of recent Med‑Surg experience in an acute‑care hospital setting.
