Travel Medical Assistant

About the role

Join a nationwide team that brings preventive healthcare directly to patients in the comfort of their homes. This full‑time, W2 position lets you travel across the United States while delivering wellness‑focused medical assistant services.

Key responsibilities

• Complete scheduled in‑home wellness visits, including Annual Wellness, Medicare, and Well‑Child appointments.
• Gather and document patient information in an EMR/EHR system.
• Perform point‑of‑care tasks such as vitals, urinalysis, A1C testing, screenings, and questionnaires.
• Provide a respectful, unrushed experience for patients during each visit.
• Manage a mobile workflow, traveling between patient homes and coordinating schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Medical Assistant credential, certification, diploma, or equivalent.
• Comfort working independently in patient homes.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide, often on a week‑to‑week basis.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for local or same‑day visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR documentation.
• Point‑of‑care testing skills (vitals, urinalysis, A1C).
