About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a TLP Repayment Associate to support the US Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) Travel Loan Program. Based in Washington D.C., you will work under the Senior TLP Associate and the Head of USRAP TLP to manage loan repayment communications with migrants holding TLP accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Contact TLP participants regarding outstanding debt or loan settlement.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with federal, state, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and payment status.
- Support the administration of the travel loan and collections program.
Required profile
- University degree with at least three years relevant experience, or high school diploma with five years experience.
- Background in office management, accounting, bookkeeping, or billing and collections.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) and Rohingya.
- Strong verbal communication and ability to persuade without authority.
- Motivated, resilient and interested in humanitarian work.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Word.
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel.

- Fixed‑term contract of 12 months.
- Monthly salary at G5 Step 1 (USD 6,714.58).
