About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an entry‑level Training & Development Specialist to support agency learning initiatives. Working under supervision, you will help design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that enhance employee performance and public service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assessing training needs and planning instructional sessions.
• Develop seminars, presentations, and videos for internal and public audiences.
• Schedule training events, maintain records, and coordinate equipment setup.
• Support contract bidding and procurement for training services.
• Contribute to outreach communication and community education efforts.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional eager to learn under supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.

Required skills

• Experience administering or managing a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Ability to create eLearning content and multimedia materials.
