About the role
Be the face of SidelineSwap in your region by running pop‑up trade‑in events at partner retail stores, buying high‑quality used gear from athletes and sports families, and managing your own SidelineSwap business account where that gear gets resold.
Key responsibilities
- Build relationships with retail partners, host weekend trade‑in events, evaluate and purchase used sports gear using trade‑in software.
- Deliver excellent customer experiences, coordinate photography and shipping of gear to the warehouse.
- Manage your SidelineSwap business unit: review performance metrics, manage inventory, respond to customers, and set pricing to maximize sales and bonuses.
Required profile
- Entrepreneurial mindset; treats the role like a personal business.
- Strong customer service instincts and comfort speaking with a wide range of people.
- General sports knowledge; expertise in one sport preferred.
- Comfortable working independently on a non‑traditional schedule.
Required skills
- Ability to operate trade‑in software for evaluating and purchasing gear.
- Basic understanding of financial metrics to drive business decisions.
