About the role
RLC is seeking Tire Mechanics for its Wilmington, OH Service Center. The role involves changing, repairing, and maintaining tractor‑trailer tires on Class 8 fleet vehicles in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Mount and dismount truck and car tires.
- Operate truck balancer on and off the vehicle.
- Repair and replace tires to company standards.
- Maintain accurate records and follow out‑of‑service criteria.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of commercial tire experience.
- Ability to lift up to 125 lb and stand on concrete for extended periods.
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and current operator’s license.
- Basic knowledge of DOT tire information and out‑of‑service criteria.
Required skills
- Truck balancer operation.
- Use of 1‑inch air wrench.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools.
- Identification of wheel types, fasteners, and retread vs. new tires.

- Earn up to $31.28 per hour.
- Full‑time, various shifts available.
- One week of vacation after 90 days of employment.
