Tier 3 Security Analyst – Senior SOC Lead

About the role

SevenAI is building an AI‑driven security operations platform and needs a senior analyst to lead the Tier 3 team. As a Tier 3 Security Analyst you will validate AI‑generated investigations, mentor junior analysts, and help shape the processes that keep the service reliable and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and validate investigations completed by AI agents for accuracy, completeness, and risk.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts, serving as the technical escalation point for complex cases.
• Correlate data from cloud, endpoint, identity, network and other sources to build a full picture of malicious activity.
• Investigate attacks stopped by the AI agents, assess the prevented risk, and document findings.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting using advanced AI agents across customer environments.
• Assist customers with threat monitoring, triage, and incident response, communicating with both technical staff and executive leadership.
• Design and refine processes that enable the team to scale while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to provide feedback and improve the AI platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cyber security operations.
• Hands‑on experience investigating alerts across multiple data sources (endpoint, network, identity, email, cloud, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to verify AI‑driven analysis and make independent security decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with security monitoring tools such as SIEM, XDR, IDS/IPS, and IDP.
• Experience writing queries in SPL, KQL, FQL, SQL or similar languages.
• Deep knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attack techniques.
• Expertise in malware analysis methods and log/telemetry concepts.
