Test Automation Consultant – Seattle, WA

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Test Automation Consultant to join its Retail, Consumer Goods, and Logistics unit in Seattle. You will work on designing and implementing test automation frameworks while supporting end‑to‑end software delivery for retail‑focused clients.

Key responsibilities

• Document assigned business requirements and contribute to elicitation activities.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture design decisions for development teams.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain new features in existing applications.
• Perform code reviews, manage code repositories, and ensure system stability.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support processes.
• Assist in production issue resolution and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage full SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Capability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for design and hands‑on coding experience.
